Sustainability! - A "plant" to nurture and care for.

It is so exciting and beautiful at the same time to watch new life emerge. How it grows and flourishes, how it develops. The first steps, the first words ... stop Stop! "The first words"? No, our little plant can't do that - or can it?

Maybe it can't speak, but there are lots of people who make sure it is heard .

Sometimes in our mother tongue, mostly in English and, because it is a global plant, also in all the other languages of the world. Sometimes more and sometimes less comprehensible, sometimes verbose, sometimes in enigmatic buzzwords or abbreviations. Local, regional, seasonal - most people can relate to these terms. But what about SDG, ESG, GSTC, CSR? No, these are not assistance systems for a new electric vehicle. This is the normal madness of what is perhaps the most important topic of our time: SUSTAINABILITY!

It would be wrong to say that we as the halbersbacher Group are late to the game. We have been thinking sustainably for years. For reasons of efficiency, if only out of a desire for self-optimisation. We are just giving the child, our little plant, a name, or rather a visible platform, for the first time. Just the way things are done today. We are aware that our little plant still needs a lot of care. But the mere fact that we keep asking ourselves whether it is the right soil, the right pot or even the right place for our little plant gives us the chance to continue growing together and change things for the better.

What do I actually want to say now? When you consciously and professionally deal with the topic of sustainability for the first time, you realise just how extensive and complicated the whole subject is or perhaps is made to be. At halbersbacher, we are therefore happy to have GreenSign as an experienced partner at our side to guide us through the next steps.

Thanks to the support and the resulting momentum within the company, sustainability is also fun. Especially when you see what great and sometimes simple solutions there are for long-held habits and tasks. This is another reason why we will continue to go full throttle and live sustainability at halbersbacher.

Halbersbacher goes green. Or simply: "grow, little plant, grow"!

Hey, I'm ...

Mathias, a fisherman from the Baltic Sea and a lover of fresh air with a strong urge to explore and move. When he's not listening to the waves or raging in them, he's out on his electric bike in search of the most beautiful sunset - always with his camera at the ready, in the belief that he has the perfect shot, only to delete it again just a short time later.
